Verge Sport was founded by cyclists who identified a need for a new kind of clothing supplier - one that would not only lead the industry by providing the highest level of technical custom sports clothing available, but also by living by the motto “service excellence” in everything it does. We’ve made it our business to know what athletes need; we’ve made it our passion to provide it.
Nowhere is this passion and commitment more apparent than in Verge Sport’s commitment to the development and maturation of the U.S. cyclo-cross scene. For more than a decade, Verge Sport has been providing clothing and financial sponsorship to numerous cross races and series throughout the U.S. – from the smaller local event, to the largest and most prestigious series. We have also given strong support to several national champions, world medalists and, most importantly grassroots, development, junior and elite teams, including the Richard Sachs Elite Cross Team.
Verge Sport’s commitment to the Richard Sachs Elite Cross Team has been years in the making – and our commitment to the team has never been stronger. Mud, sweat, gears and a shared commitment to the love of the sport are the cornerstone of our support. It has been a pleasure for Verge Sport to have been a part of the winning teams and riders Richard Sachs has produced throughout the years. Valuable feedback from the team riders have played an instrumental part of our product development, most notably in our new Primo Power collection, which offers features and trims previously never available in a custom clothing line. All of these reasons and many more are why we are proud to be part of the Richard Sachs Elite Cross Team.
This 2013-2014 cross season, Verge Sport furthers its commitment to the sport by launching its Grassroots Cross Program. Much awaited products, such as cross specific hats, pants, and jackets, are just a part of the offering. A full line of cross gear is available for everyone – from the most serious cross racer looking for the best technical clothing on the planet, to the new cross racer that doesn’t have the resources of a larger club or team – we are here for you.
